Acceptable use

The short version: be respectful, don't try to break things, and don't use TrainLog to harm other people. The long version is below.

Last updated:

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everyone using TrainLog, including the website, the mobile application and any related Services. It supplements our Terms and Conditions. Breach of this Policy is a material breach of those Terms.

2. Things you must not do

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes the rights of any third party
  • Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation
  • Transmit viruses, worms, trojans or any other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, other users' accounts, or any connected systems
  • Interfere with, disrupt or place undue load on the Services or the networks that run them
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network without our written consent
  • Use bots, scrapers or any automated means to access the Services except where expressly permitted by our documentation
  • Harvest or collect other users' data (including email addresses) by any means
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Services except as permitted by mandatory law
  • Use the Services to develop or train a competing product
  • Resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise commercialise the Services without a written agreement with us

3. Content standards

Anything you post — photos, notes, programme descriptions, comments — must be your own or used with permission. You are solely responsible for the content you upload. We may, but are not required to, review uploaded content and may remove anything we reasonably believe violates this Policy.

4. Reporting violations

If you believe someone is breaching this Policy — harassing you, impersonating someone, uploading infringing content — please report it to support@trainlogapp.com. We investigate all reports and take action where appropriate.

5. Consequences

If we determine that you have breached this Policy we may:

  • Remove the offending content
  • Warn you, in which case you have an opportunity to cure the breach
  • Suspend your account temporarily
  • Terminate your account and refuse future service
  • Cooperate with law enforcement where required by law

We choose the response proportionate to the severity of the breach.

6. Changes

StrengthBit Technologies d.o.o. may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, product or practice. The updated Policy takes effect when posted on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
